HArmonyCa combines the properties of two key components:

    1.    Hyaluronic Acid (HA): A naturally occurring substance in the skin, HA provides immediate hydration and volumisation. Its gel-like texture smooths fine lines and restores volume to areas affected by aging.

    2.    Calcium Hydroxyapatite (CaHA): This biostimulatory agent consists of calcium-based microspheres that trigger fibroblast activity in the skin, leading to increased collagen production over time. This strengthens the skin’s structure, enhances elasticity, and delivers long-lasting firmness.

This highly effective combination helps to address volume loss whilst also promoting natural collagen production, helping to lift and tighten and improve skin texture. The result continues to improve gradually for months after treatment.

The treatment is generally well-tolerated, with minimal side effects like mild redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection site. Unlike traditional fillers made purely of hyaluronic acid, HarmonyCa is unable to be fully dissolved so, as with any injectable, it should only be performed by a trained medical professional to ensure optimal results and minimal risks. 

A numbing cream may be applied if required to ensure comfort. The treatment usually requires only a few injections and the product is placed under the skin using a cannula (a blunt ended tube). This is not normally painful though mild discomfort may be experienced.The syringe contains a local anaesthetic to help reduce discomfort. The procedure typically takes 30-45 minutes.

HArmonyCa™ injectable treatment is generally well‑tolerated, but you may experience mild side effects such as redness, swelling, bruising, pain, tenderness, or itching. These usually improve within 24–48 hours, although minor swelling can persist for up to a week.

Care tips for the first 24 hours

• Avoid strenuous activity.
• Stay out of direct sunlight, tanning lamps, and extreme weather.
• Use an ice pack or cold compress on tender areas (never apply ice directly to the skin).
• Gently massage any small bumps if they appear.
